Our goal was to build an iPad sales tool that did much more than look fancy. We wanted it to make sales reps excited. We wanted to increase sales.

So we went to the experts, the sales teams themselves. We know every sales meeting can be unique. We learned we needed a tool flexible enough to serve a lunch meeting or a 30-second elevator ride. A tool that allowed the reps to customize the sales flow to fit any need, but to have every possible piece of sales content at their disposal within seconds.

Sales Support

 

Full SEO, e-mail, blog, banner ad, social, and Adwords campaigns were developed to build and support traffic. For ease of maintenance, we created a completely customized and flexible, easy to use CMS. To make the most of every dollar spent, a robust, multi-track CRM program enables the client to continue the sales conversation with users, wherever they are in the sales funnel. CRM focuses on acquisition, adherence, and retention. An iPad sales aid and trade show interactive were developed for the national sales team.

 

Site was launched using a strategic rollout plan, enabling online marketing to commence before launch and before the entire program was built.

Building Sales With Data, Not Hype

 

We didn’t want to build a dreamy tool that didn’t live up to the hype. So we built in real-time Google Analytics. Flow behaviors can be tracked and analyzed to see which content produces the best results. Aggregated data can be used to improve team performance as well as the app itself. (If no internet connection exists, app saves data locally until connection is restored.)

After working with sales reps and content producers in the business unit, we created a strategic plan, did flow analyses and worked out all of the features. We designed it to be easy to use, yet powerful enough to provide the reps with any content they needed.

 

We created multiple prototypes and sent them into the field for testing until the final iteration was packaged into app form and distributed using device management software.
